Hann Selected As New Director of Graduate Studies
Please join me in congratulating Steve Hann as our new Director of Graduate Studies for Cell and Developmental Biology, effective July 1, 2015. Steve brings valuable experience from his 27 year career in the department, and as PI of the IBSTO training grant. As IGP Day rapidly approaches we look forward to Steve spearheading our efforts to recruit some great new students into the department.
My most sincere thanks to Matt Tyska, who has tirelessly dedicated much time and effort over the past three years as DGS, during a stressful period of rapid structural and administrative changes. Under Matt’s leadership our Graduate Education Program has continued to attract the best and brightest students to the department. We wish Matt all the best as he returns to the bench full time. Thank you Matt for a job well done!
I encourage you all to offer your congratulations to Steve and extend a big thank you to Matt!
