Nick Vierra is a co-author on two recent publications. One in Endocrinology titled "Pancreatic β-Cell-specific Ablation of TASK-1 Channels Augments Glucose-stimulated Calcium Entry and Insulin Secretion, Improving Glucose Tolerance." and the other in Journal of Biological Chemistry titled "Inhibition of pancreatic β-cell Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II reduces glucose-stimulated calcium influx and insulin secretion, impairing glucose tolerance.".
