Syllabus and Course Evaluations

Syllabus

A syllabus is required for every MPH Program course. In order to maintain consistency across courses, we ask course instructors to use the template provided below.

MPH course syllabi should include the standard grading scale, course competencies, the instructor's policy on absences, and the MPH Program academic policies.

Rebecca Mohr will contact the course instructor to request a final copy of the syllabus no later than the first day of class.

The course syllabus should be distributed to students in-person, by email, or on the course site in Brightspace no later than the first day of class.

Course Evaluations

The MPH Program is dedicated to providing a high quality curricular experience. To elicit student feedback, all students are required to complete a course evaluation at the end of each course.

As the end of the term approaches, Rebecca will contact the course instructor with a draft of the course evaluation to review. After the instructor has finalized the evaluation, Rebecca will create the course evaluation in REDCap and she will administer it to the students on the last day class.

All students in the course (100% participation) must complete the online course evaluation within a week. Rebecca will follow up with any students who fail to meet the deadline. Once all course evaluations are completed, Rebecca will email the course instructor to confirm that final grades may be posted.
