Determining which N-Acyl-Amides (NAAs) can be made by gut bacteria from amino acids and fatty acids. Performing HTS to find NAPE-PLD modulators, determining SAR, and doing medicinal chemistry to create potent modulators of NAPE-PLD. Using genomic information to find N-acyl-oxyacyl amino acid synthases and performing HTS to find broad-spectrum modulators of N-acyl-oxyacyl synthesis.
