The goal of my project is to elucidate the biophysical principles underlying microtubule dynamics. Currently, I am using microfluidics to study the behavior of microtubule dynamics when subject to sub-second fluid exchange and mechanical forces in vitro. In the future, I will use this controlled system to reconstitute physiological systems to study cytoskeletal interfaces.
