Ph.D. Applicant Interviews
The most promising Ph.D. applicants will be invited to interview on campus in January of 2025.
The visit familiarizes applicants with the resources of both the department and the university.
Prospective students will meet with individual faculty to learn more about research training opportunities and interact with current Ph.D. students to hear their perspectives on their research at Vanderbilt. The Ph.D. program emphasizes preparation for research and teaching careers in audiology, speech-language pathology, and hearing or speech science. Doctoral education and training are integrated with the federally-sponsored research programs of faculty members.
Our department is committed to fully funding accepted applicants (tuition and stipend) for the period of Ph.D. training, typically 4 to 5 years.
The deadline for applications is December 1st of every year.
