- All Biochemistry Faculty are allotted two conference room keys — one personal key and one communal key which should be placed in a central location accessible to all lab members. See below on details for making room reservations.
For keycard access and after-hours access to the 6th floor Light Hall shared lab space, please use the “badge/door access request” link on the VUMC Facilities Management website: https://www.vumc.org/facilities/welcome
- Provide an email address of the responsible Principle Investigator on the VUMC access form. The mentoring PI must respond to an authentication email to authorize access. Response time is 24-72 hours, depending on weekday/weekend timeframe.
- Emergency access is now allowed only by VUPD officers who will provide escort into and out of restricted spaces. Call VUPD at 615-322-2745 or through the VandySafe phone app. There is no longer an emergency phone number or email enabling access into restricted areas.
- Keycard access must be re-authorized if a keycard is lost/replaced
