Lourdes Estrada promotion
Please join me in congratulating Dr. Lourdes Estrada for her promotion to Professor of Biochemistry, educator track! Dr. Estrada has made outstanding contributions to the Vanderbilt School of Medicine through her teaching, mentoring, and service. She is an amazing educational leader at Vanderbilt with major innovative contributions to our MSTP, medical, and graduate education programs. Most recently she was appointed to the role of Assistant Dean for Health Equity Education for the School of Medicine. In this role she leads efforts to increase diversity and inclusion in biomedical sciences education. We are fortunate to have such an outstanding educational leader in the Department of Biochemistry.
