Josephine Sasmaya Bloodworth was born on 11/10/18 at 9:18 pm at 6 lb 15 oz. Congratulations, Melissa and Nathan Bloodworth (M4s)!

 


Lindsay (G3) and Krystian (G4+) Kozek were thrilled to welcome baby Addison Michael Kozek, who was born October 26 at 8 lb 13 oz and 20 inches long. Congratulations!

 

 
Dr. Maureen Gannon (Stahlman-Thomas Advising College Faculty Leader) hosted the 3rd annual Stahlman-Thomas pumpkin carving party at her house on Sunday, October 28th.

 

 
The Checkpoints World Tour continues with a stop in New York to celebrate a banner year in Imuno-oncology!! Pictured on the far right is bass player Brad Reinfeld (G2).

 


Caley and Cody Stothers (G3) were married on October 20th in Nashville, TN. Congratulations!

 

  
Members of the Mini-MSTP/Outreach Committee hosted strawberry DNA extraction and disease transmission stations at Centennial Elementary School’s STEM Night.

 

Alex Sundermann (G4), Rachana Haliyur (M3), Brad Reinfeld (G2), Jon Knowlton (M3), Matt Stier (M4), Danny Sack (G1), Natalie Bennett (M2), Melissa Bloodworth (M4), and Nathan Bloodworth (M4) — as well as the Bloodworth and Sundermann children! — welcomed Emily Chu (M1) into their MSTP family!

 


The Gannon Lab came in 3rd place (out of 6) in the annual Molecular Physiology and Biophysics relay race in September. There were two Gannon Lab MSTP students in the race: Joey Elsakr (G4) and Eric Donahue (G1). According to Dr. Gannon, “They would have come in 1st if it weren’t for me!”
