Life in the MSTP – March 2024
Our MSTP classmates had a wonderful time at Cadaver Ball! Cadaver Ball is held the day after Match to celebrate our outgoing M4s.
Yasminye Pettway (G4) and alumni Dr. Ayesha Muhammad (’23) and Dr. Rachana Haliyur (’20) reunited at the University of Michigan, where Drs. Muhammad and Haliyur are now residents!
The MSTP Women in Training group hosted a Paint and Sip night in honor of Women’s History Month! The group derived creative inspiration by discussing the stories and portraits of the incredible women featured in “Original Sisters: Portraits of Tenacity and Courage” by Anita Kunz.
Several of our students led an MSTP booth dedicated to teaching the cranial nerves to local elementary and middle school students at the annual Vanderbilt Brain Institute Brain Blast event.
Members of the M1 class went on a camping trip to the Great Smoky Mountains for Gabby Longway’s (M1) birthday!
Our MSTP Lunches with Leaders series continued this month with Dr. Andre Churchwell, Senior Advisor to the Chancellor on inclusion and community outreach. Thank you Dr. Churchwell for meeting with our students!
