Dan Roden Lab, 2023 Grad
Residency: Anesthesia at University of Michigan
Graduate Program: Human Genetics
Dissertation: Addressing challenges to genomic medicine: effects of rare and common variation on arrhythmia and pharmacogenetic phenotypes
Hometown: Karachi, Pakistan
Undergraduate Institution: Yale University
Research Interests: I am interested in combining computational and basic science approaches to understand the genome’s contribution to drug response and physiology to improve peri-operative outcomes for patients. My dissertation work focused on high throughput approaches to VUS classification in the cardiac sodium and potassium genes and the contribution of common variation to drug response phenotypes.
