Research Interests: I am a molecular biologist turned computational biologist, looking to find new discoveries in the molecular mechanisms involved in psychiatric diseases using genetic and electronic health record tools.
My thesis project is on exploring the genetic architecture of suicide attempt, and how it interacts with many psychiatric phenotypes including major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and eating disorders. Ultimately, I would like to develop a suicide risk prediction tool that combines clinical risk models and genetic risk scores.
