Research Description: Interested on evidence-based practices (intervention) for the bilingual population (Spanish/English).   Specifically, establishing methods of intervention for phonological awareness in the school aged population who are developing two languages. As a long term goal for my research career, I look to contribute and collaborate with universities in Puerto Rico and continue to expand knowledge of intervention strategies specific to the Spanish speaking population.
