The Vanderbilt MSTP was well represented at this years National MD-PhD Student Conference from July 12-14, 2019 in Copper Mountain, CO [elevation 9,712’!], hosted by the University of Colorado MSTP. Thao Le (G2), Victoria Martucci (G4), Petria Thompson (G4),  and Benjamin Reisman (G4), were in attendance as well as Physician Scientist Training Program (PSTP) director Patrick Hu, MD, PhD. The weekend consisted of poster sessions, oral presentations, keynotes, and career development sessions led by PSTP directors, as well as lots of time to get to know MSTP peers from other institutions. The last day included a beautiful 3.5 mile hike up to nearby Mayflower Gulch which went much better than expected considering the altitude (~12,000’!).
