National MD-PhD Student Conference 2023

In early July, MSTP students Natalie Bennett (G5), Emily Chu (G4), Matthew O’Neill (M4), Yasminye Pettway (G4), Clara Si (G3), and Duncan Smart (M4) attended the 38th Annual National MD/PhD Student Conference held at the Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado. Over 100 MSTP students and faculty from across the country convened at the conference to hear from keynote speakers, address challenging issues in medical ethics, and discuss careers as a physician-scientist. Importantly, our students had the opportunity to share their research in oral presentations and poster sessions. Overall, this conference was a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow MSTP students (and future colleagues!) and meet with Physician Scientist Training Program residency directors from different programs.
