The Vanderbilt MSTP held a receiption honoring longtime MSTP advisor and advocate Dr. Kimryn Rathmell before she heads off to Washington, D.C. as the new Director of the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Rathmell shared the many ways her training as a physician-scientist has impacted her career and provided many interesting perspectives for our trainees.
