National Medical Fellowships (NMF) Scholarships (Application Deadline: Rolling)
NMF is currently accepting applications for seven of its general scholarships and awards. These awards are for medical and Pharm.D. students enrolled in an accredited US program for the 2017-2018 school year. See the list below to review the awards with a brief eligibility description. CVS Health/NMF Pharm.D. Scholarship
This award provides a $2,500 scholarship to one African American student studying pharmacy and enrolled in the professional program of an accredited college of pharmacy. Application Deadline: September 15, 2017
United Health Foundation/NMF Diverse Medical Scholars Program
Established in 2013, this service-learning program provides a $7,000 award to 30 qualified medical students. All Scholars are required to complete a 200-hour self-directed community health project at the community site of their choice. Selected Scholars will be benrolled in an accredited US medical school, be a member of an underrepresented minority group, and have demonstrated leadership and a commitment to underserved communities. Dr. David K. McDonogh Scholarship in Ophthalmology/ENT
This award provides a $5,000 scholarship to one African American, Afro-Latino, or Native American medical student in New York City. Application Deadline: June 23, 2017
Gerber Scholarship in Pediatrics Program
This award provides a $5,000 scholarship to two underrepresented minority medical students with an interest in pediatrics with an emphasis on nutrition. Application Deadline: June 23, 2017
Hugh J. Andersen Memorial Scholarship Program
This award provides a $5,000 scholarship to two 2nd or 3rd year underrepresented minority medical students enrolled in a Minnesota medical school. Application Deadline: June 23, 2017
Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation Scholarship
This award provides a $5,000 scholarship to six 2nd or 3rd year underrepresented minority medical students in financial need. Application Deadline: June 23, 2017
Mary Ball Carrera Scholarship
This award provides a $2,500 scholarship to one Native American woman currently enrolled in an accredited US medical school. Application Deadline: June 23, 2017
NMF National Alumni Council Scholarship Program
This award provides a $5,000 scholarship to eight 4th year underrepresented minority medical students. Application Deadline: June 23, 2017
