The morning plenary sessions include presentations on navigating the NIH and peer review process, identifying and competing successfully for non-NIH funding, and writing a compelling research plan.

The afternoon concurrent sessions focus on either FELLOWSHIPS or CAREER DEVELOPMENT AWARDS. Participants will learn more about specific funding options, discuss elements of successful applications, and watch a mock study section review of a fellowship or career development award application. Workshop sessions will include panel discussions and presentations by applicants and faculty who have served on peer review panels of fellowship or career development awards.
