Attire
The BRET Office of Career Development is often asked the question: “what do I wear to this…. networking event/interview/informational coffee/career symposium, etc.?” We are always happy to help, and we encourage you to have appropriate clothing for the corresponding event.
Many of the events we sponsor and/or host request “business casual.” Other professional events, including interviews, often require “professional” dress. Please view this graphic for further elaboration.
We also recommend:
- When in doubt, dress conservatively
- Stick with solid colors and looser clothing
- Make sure the focus is on the face, not anything else
