Assistant lab director. PhD with excellent writing skills wanted to assist Professor Timothy A. Springer in multiple aspects of directing a lab with >20 postdoctoral fellows doing multidisciplinary research in molecular and cell biology. The most central aspect of this newly created position is grant writing and manuscript editing. Flexibility to participate in research areas including structure and function of adhesion molecules, von Willebrand factor, the TGFb and BMP family, structural biology, immunology, and malaria vaccine development. This is a unique role that supports the expansion of Dr. Springer’s involvement in many projects. Other duties dependent on interests.

Applicants must have a PhD in a field of molecular and cell biology and demonstrated excellent English writing skills. Applicants must provide a CV, three references, and a description of their past contributions to the writing of manuscripts and grants. Finalists for the position must complete a writing assignment to demonstrate their abilities.
