Dan Beaudry, head of business development at Going Global, and former head of campus recruiting for Monster.com, shares the potent job search system used by many international students find US employment. He will discuss how to secure H-1B sponsorship at almost any company-even if the company has a policy against sponsoring H-1B visas. Dan Beaudry is the author of “Power Ties: The International Student’s Guide to Finding a Job in the United States.” Formerly, Dan ran campus recruiting for Monster.com, including the growth and management of Monster’s MBA Executive Development and Leadership program. Dan is the former Associate Director of Corporate Recruiting at the Boston University School of Management where he constructed and delivered the school’s international student employment series. He now works for Going Global, the international career advisory firm. Dan has been a guest speaker at events for the National Association of Colleges and Employers, the MBA Career Services Council, the HR Planning Society, the International Careers Consortium and many universities and business schools across the country. He holds a BA from Vanderbilt University, an MA in International Relations from Boston University, and language certifications from La Sorbonne in Paris.
