Funding Opportunity for late-stage postdoctoral fellows conducting clinical and translational research
The Vanderbilt Clinical and Translational Research Scholars Program (VCTRS) and the Vanderbilt Physician Scientist Development Program (VPSD) are currently accepting applications for the year beginning July 1, 2014.
The single application process is streamlined to simultaneously consider applicants for both programs. Prospective applicants, who are cleared by their Department Chair to proceed, must indicate their intention to apply for consideration for VCTRS, VPSD, or both, by completing a Survey of Intent which will be emailed to them after contacting the program manager (donna.marie@vanderbilt.edu).
If interested in this unique opportunity, you must attend one of two informational meetings hosted by Dr. Katherine Hartmann, which will help you determine your eligibility to apply, and where she will highlight a few other early career development programs currently available at VUMC. These two (only!) meetings will be held at 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Friday, November 22 and 2:30 – 4:00 PM on Tuesday, December 10. Post-doctoral fellows and early career faculty who are interested in learning more about funding opportunities at Vanderbilt should email Donna to RSVP for one of the two sessions and for meeting location.
