Preparing for a Job Interview
Preparing for job interviews can be tough. Researching the company and the job, writing out possible interview questions and answers, and practicing with a friend are all great ways to prepare for the interview(s).
The Chronicle of Higher Education has two great recent articles to read through before jumping into the interview process. The first discusses 12 Bloopers to Avoid in Job Interviews, which conveys an honest look at job interviews from a hiring veteran.
The second article looks at interviews with a search committee: What Search Committees Wish You Knew.
And, just for fun, the Nashville Business Journal interviewed “Nashville’s Most Admired CEOs” and asked them their favorite interview questions. The neat article includes a fascinating slideshow and some very different interview questions!
