The FLI is an internationally renowned research institute focused on the biology of aging. We are currently expanding under new leadership and are seeking outstanding enthusiastic individuals to strengthen our research program. The successful candidate will be expected to establish an independent research program using innovative approaches to study mechanisms of aging, preferentially in the areas of stem cell biology, DNA damage, chromatin biology and epigenetics. The candidate will join an interactive and vibrant group of faculty fo-cused on stem cell and telomere biology, stress response and development, regulation of lifespan, organ homeostasis and DNA damage using various model systems.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and strong record of research achievements. Preference is given to junior faculty candidates.
