Become a better communicator: Apply for the iBiology Young Scientist Series!
Are you a young scientist? Would you like to share the results of your biology research with an international audience? Are you interested in becoming a better communicator? Apply for the iBiology Young Scientist Seminar Series by February 1st, 2015!
If you are a Ph.D. candidate or postdoctoral researcher in biological sciences, this competition offers a unique opportunity to develop your effective communication skills.
Four winners will attend a two-day workshop offered by the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science at Stony Brook University, a leading institution in the training of scientists in science communication and outreach.
After the workshop, the winners will record 30-minute talks using green screen technology, and the videos will be posted and distributed through the iBiology website.
