Apply now for business module for scientists: Summer Intensive for Entrepreneurship and Commercialization
This summer, the BRET Office of Career Development is offering a module for PhD students and postdocs in the biomedical sciences, chemistry, and biomedical engineering who are interested in entrepreneurship and commercialization of scientific innovations.
The 2016 Summer Intensive for Entrepreneurship and Commercialization will run Mondays and Thursdays from June 6-July 28 (with a break the week of July 4). Course participants will break into teams and develop a technology commercialization proposal and investment pitch. The course is ideal for trainees who want an introduction to the "language" of business, and trainees who are interested in entrepreneurship or academic innovation, or a career in start-ups, technology transfer, business, or consulting.
