Vanderbilt’s CCTC and Innovation Center now offering 8 week entrepreneurship program – apply today!
As part of its “Startup Vanderbilt” initiative, the Vanderbilt Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization and the Vanderbilt Innovation Center, in collaboration with the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, is pleased to offer the Entrepreneur Center’s Pre-Flight Program for aspiring entrepreneurs. The program will be held at the Vanderbilt Innovation Center.
Pre-Flight will be an 8 to 10 week program hosted at the Innovation Center to assist those with entrepreneurial interests and inclinations to explore the possibility of starting a company, evaluate whether a business idea is viable and learn what it takes to run a business.
Pre-Flight will also cover issues specific to Vanderbilt entrepreneurs employed by Vanderbilt including evaluation of research agreements, intellectual property ownership, the role of conflict of interest reporting, clinical testing, etc. The program will conclude with an opportunity to pitch to a panel of startup and investment experts for feedback on your plan.
Pre Flight is open to all administration, faculty, staff and students who are considering whether entrepreneurship might play a role in their future. If you are interested in participating, please fill out the registration application. This session of the program is limited to 40 applicants.
