Want To Intern At Nashville Public Radio?
Nashville Public Radio is hiring interns for Fall 2017.
In our reporting internship at WPLN, you will get hands-on, intensive experience producing stories for an award-winning newsroom. You'll cover daily news, gather sound like a pro and build a substantial portfolio of radio scripts and web posts. We're looking for hard-working, curious candidates who write well on deadline, spot sharp story angles and constantly strive to improve their work. We give strong preference to applicants with previous reporting or audio storytelling experience.
We also offer a digital media internship, which focuses on producing web stories, podcasts and social media content. We are looking for candidates who are skilled writers with a keen eye for seeing a story and interested in engaging diverse audiences online.
We ask that interns commit at least two full days a week to the program and provide a small stipend based on time commitment.
