Science Salon hosted by VU-WiSE, April 18
Join Vanderbilt Women in Science and Engineering (VU-WiSE) for a Science Salon celebrating the work of women in STEM at Vanderbilt. VU-WiSE is a community and support network of women in science, engineering and mathematics at Vanderbilt. Our members range from undergraduate students to faculty and staff.
The Science Salon is a great chance to learn about the work women are doing in STEM at Vanderbilt and meet VU-WiSE members. Presentations will include brief talks (including a discussion of career paths) by assistant professors, post-docs, and graduate students in Cell and Developmental Biology, Civil, Environmental, and Mechanical Engineering, Hematology/Oncology, Pediatrics and Pharmacology. The presentations will be followed by a reception with VU-WiSE members and speakers – refreshments will be provided.
