McKinsey Insight program: Insight Asia Pacific Program, applications due April 8th
This exciting 3-day program from June 11-14, 2018 gives non-MBA advanced degree students an insider's look into management consulting, covering a range of topics important to those who are exploring alternative career possibilities. The program’s agenda includes an overview of management consulting, an introduction to the type of work we do, a management consulting case study and participate in social activities in the city of Chicago. It also gives you a great opportunity to network with colleagues from our Asia Pacific offices and learn about this exciting region.
Insight Asia Pacific is for students dedicated to starting a career with McKinsey in Asia Pacific (Australia, Greater China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, or any of our Digital McKinsey and Operations offices in Asia Pacific). Applicants should be fluent in English and one of the following languages (based on office interest): Bahasa, Japanese, Hindi, Korean, Malay, Mandarin (Cantonese preferable for Hong Kong), Tagalog/Filipino, Thai, or Vietnamese (or English alone for those interested in Australia). Applicants should be completing a PhD or postdoc in 2019 or completing an MD, medical internship, residency, or fellowship in 2019/2020.
Eligibility
- Dedicated to starting a career in Asia–Pacific (Australia, Greater China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, or any of our Digital McKinsey and Operations offices in Asia Pacific)
- Fluent in English and one of the following languages (based on office interest): Bahasa, Japanese, Hindi, Korean, Malay, Mandarin (Cantonese preferable for Hong Kong), Tagalog/Filipino, Thai, or Vietnamese (or English alone for those interested in Australia)
- Completing an MD, medical internship, residency, or fellowship in 2019 or 2020, or completing a PhD or postdoc in 2019
- Currently residing in the United States or Canada
- Available to attend the entire event, from Monday through Thursday
Application process and timeline
- Application deadline: April 8, 2018
- A select group of finalists will be invited to participate in a brief phone interview
- Participants will be notified of our decisions in early May
- No business experience is required
- All program-related expenses will be paid by McKinsey & Company
