Leadership needed for VSSA Student Research Symposium

Posted by on Thursday, April 12, 2018 in Announcements .

The Vanderbilt Summer Science Academy (VSSA), a summer research program for undergraduates, is looking for graduate students and post-docs to help coordinate and lead the VSSA 16th Annual Student Research Symposium.  The symposium will be held August 2nd, 2018 in the new Science and Engineering Building across from the 25th Ave parking garage.  Leaders will work closely with the VSSA co-Directors, Beth Bowman and Christina Keeton, to enlist, organize, and assign judging of student abstracts, posters, and talks as well as coordinate set-up and take-down/clean-up needs.

This will be a large time commitment during June and July but is a great opportunity to get leadership, mentoring, and administrative experience with the BRET Office and to interact with promising future scientists.

If you are interested or have questions, please contact Beth Bowman, elizabeth.a.bowman@vanderbilt.edu.
