VSPG and SPEAR will host a team-building retreat for the Southern Hub at Vanderbilt University (Nashville, TN) to build a more informed and cohesive community and strengthen the National Science Policy Network’s presence in the Southern region. In addition to impactful speakers involved in science and policy, the retreat will include an informative science communication and policy component to provide attendees with strong written and verbal tools to help them achieve their organization’s objectives. We aim to ensure that our groups have a strong collaborative network and are able to share resources to impact science policy at both the regional and national level.
