Dr. Johnson received his PhD from Case Western Reserve University in 2015; after which he moved down to Duke for a two-year post-doc focusing on the regulatory role of the lncRNA LOXL1-AS1 in exfoliation glaucoma. Following his post-doc, Will transitioned into technical sales, and has worked with several companies that have varied product portfolios. Will currently works for Takara Bio USA where he focuses on providing expertise on kits, reagents, instruments, and services that help researchers explore questions about gene discovery, regulation, and function.
