Teaching Assistant opportunity on VU campus: Biostats for first year IGP students
Are you interested in teaching? Are you into statistics? “Who isn’t?” you might ask.
I am looking for a graduate student or postdoc with a strong understanding of fundamental statistic concepts (probability, t tests, anova, etc) to work with me on my 3-week biostatistics course for first-year IGP students (Aug 23-Sept 10 from 1-2:30). In this role, you would help me grade papers, provide feedback to me, and provide summary presentations, pre-recorded and uploaded on Brightspace, our teaching platform. It would be helpful if you have been through my stats class before.
