Position description:
A fully funded postdoctoral position is available in the Section of Mucosal Immunology, NIDCR, NIH, Bethesda MD, USA.
The project of the position focuses on studying Tregs and/or CARTregs in immunotherapy in cancer and autoimmune models. This position offers an opportunity to expand future career paths by providing a unique experience with novel immunotherapy of cancers/autoimmunity. The project will involve immunology experiments and mouse models as well as molecular biology, genetic and epigenetic approaches.
The position is available immediately and the appointment duration is up to 5 years. Foreign applicants will need to have permanent U.S. residency status or qualify for a J-1 visa. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
Experience Required:
Applicants must have a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent degrees within 5 years. Prior experience in immunology, biochemistry, genetics/epigenetics, and/or molecular biology is preferred, but not required. Computational biology analysis experience is a plus. Must be willing to work with animals.
How to Apply:
To apply send please send a CV, cover letter and names of 3 references to Dr. Wanjun Chen (wchen@dir.nidcr.nih.gov).

A fully funded postdoctoral position is available in the Section of Mucosal Immunology, National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), NIH, Bethesda MD, USA.
The project of the position focuses on studying immune responses in regulating the function of sensory neuron ( e.g. itch, pain) in cancer and autoimmune models. This position offers an opportunity to expand future career paths by providing a unique experience with immunoregulation of sensory neuron function in the physiological and pathological settings. The project will involve immunology experiments and mouse models as well as molecular biology, genetic and epigenetic approaches.
