Biotechnology is a broad playing field for Data Science. Data scientists can facilitate major advances in biotechnology by utilizing Machine Learning/Deep Learning in predicting the function of a molecule/protein.
If you are interested in helping to cure cancer or any of the other nefarious diseases that continue to infiltrate human health, or if you want to help create products that are safer for the environment or help to remove dangerous chemicals from our oceans, land, and air.
