Online Biomedical Entrepreneurship course

Register for the online course the Medical University of South Carolina is offering in Biomedical Entrepreneurship. The course is for researchers in the biomedical workforce who are interested in putting into action the knowledge arising from scientific discoveries. The course is offered online in a cohort model and covers intellectual property, copyrights and trademarks, developing a business, regulatory oversight, and finding financing. In addition, synchronous office hours are hosted online, and the course culminates in a final pitch session. The course director is Dr. Kelly Shaver, Emeritus Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies at the College of Charleston and a Justin Longenecker Fellow of the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship. A Digital Badge is offered for those who successfully complete the course.
 
The next application deadline is September 11, 2023 and the course will start on September 18^th.
