American Society of Nephrology invites applications for Pre-Doctoral Fellowship Award
The American Society of Nephrology (ASN) represents more than 21,000 kidney health professionals working to help people with kidney diseases and their families.
The ASN invites applications for its Pre-Doctoral Fellowship Award Program, which will provide grants of up to $30,000 per year for up to two years to PhD students under the direction of a sponsor in support of original research on any aspect of the entire spectrum of kidney biology and disease. In addition, the recipient will attend the ASN annual meeting in both years as part of the ASN Kidney STARS program; in the second year, the recipient will submit an abstract for presentation at ASN Kidney Week.
Applicants must be current graduate students in an accredited doctoral (PhD) program, have passed their qualifying exam, if applicable, and may not hold an MD, PhD, DO, or equivalent terminal degree. In addition, applicants and their sponsors must be a member of ASN at the time of the fellowship application.
