Job Opportunity: Postdoctoral Fellowship in Tumor Immunology and Immunotherapy, UC San Diego, CA

The labs of Dr. AP Ganesan and Dr. P Vijayanand are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist to undertake research in tumor immunology to investigate novel therapeutic targets for cancer immunotherapy and translation to the clinic. The candidate will work under the joint mentorship of Dr. Ganesan (oncologist/physician scientist; Assistant Professor, UCSD) and Dr. Vijayanand (Professor, LJI).

Research focus
To investigate molecular and cellular mechanisms of anti-tumor immunity and test novel immunotherapy targets using cutting-edge genomic and immunological tools and mouse models

Requirements
• Ph.D. or MD/PhD in immunology
• Previous experience in murine work and in vivo experiments using mouse models
• Experience with tumor models, brain tumor models, leukemia models is desirable
