Applications Open for Compass Career Development Program
Applications Open for Compass Career Development Program
Applications are open to participate in the fifth cohort of Compass – an NIH-funded program that provides training and mentoring for early-career faculty and late-stage postdocs at U.S. academic institutions. Compass Scholars develop practical leadership and management skills for leading a lab or research team. The program is open to those who lead or plan to lead a lab or research team. The fall cohort launches Sept. 9, 2024. Interested scholars should apply by Aug. 12th.
Compass is a remote training program for biomedical junior faculty and postdocs who want to learn essential practices to lead and manage their labs. Scholars will also explore how prioritizing their own well-being supports leadership and career success. Scholars will learn with peers, self-reflect, and explore new approaches to their work.
