National Institutes of Health Clinical Research Courses!

The NIH Office of Clinical Research Education and Collaboration Outreach (OCRECO) is now offering two engaging online courses in clinical research:

  1. Introduction to the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research – Learn how to conduct clinical research effectively and safely. Learn more about this course here.
  2. Principles of Clinical Pharmacology – Learn the fundamentals of clinical pharmacology as a translational scientific discipline. Learn more about this course here.

These courses are designed for a wide audience, including graduate students, pre-professional program students (such as those in medical, dental, and nursing fields), post-doctoral scholars, nurses, scientists, and other health professionals who are either currently involved in or planning to pursue careers in clinical research or pharmacology.

The courses are free, self-paced, and offered annually. Registration is open through June 27, 2025, for the current 2024-2025 course teat.
