MassBio Drive’s Fall 2025 accelerator cohort is now open until June 20, 2025 at 12:00PM (noon) ET.

New this year, MassBio is partnering with SCbio to offer two programs this fall (free to selected participants), expanding our support for scientific founders and emerging life sciences companies. Those programs will focus on:

  • Techbio, powered by MassBio: Scientific founders or emerging, data-driven startups leveraging new, cutting-edge tools like artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, large language models, or computational biology to transform drug discovery, delivery, and development.
  • Biotech, powered by SCbio: Scientific founders or emerging startups with a therapeutic pipeline or platform with an asset.

A quick refresher about Drive:

  • Drive is an accelerator program designed to advance breakthrough science while providing opportunities to innovators from all parts of the life sciences ecosystem. Drive supports academic founders or pre-seed biotechs or techbio startups who are looking to launch and grow their businesses.
  • Twice a year (through spring and fall cohorts), MassBio and SC bio accelerate 10 groundbreaking scientists or startups by connecting them with life sciences business curriculum, mentorship, industry connections, and benefits during an 8-week program.
  • The program is run hybrid – curriculum and mentoring meetings are virtual, while networking events and Demo Days in Boston and Charleston take place in person. We want it to be as easy as possible for all founders with great potential to tap into an interconnected, global innovation ecosystem.
  • Since launching in 2022, Drive alumni have raised $47M and created 95+ jobs.
