2025 McKinsey Advanced Degree recruiting info

APD candidates are those working toward the following degrees: PhD (including postdocs), MD (including medical interns, residents, and fellows), JD, PharmD, etc. Non-MBA Master candidates must have at least four years in between the completion of their undergraduate degree and graduate degree to be qualified for the full-time Associate position.

When to apply for full-time roles

Students who have already graduate on/before October 2025 are welcome to submit an Associate application at any time. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

For students graduating November 2025 through Fall 2026 (looking to join the firm full-time in 2026), the application deadline is September 4, 2025. We encourage you to submit your Associate application between July 1 – September 4, 2025. All applications will be processed after the deadline.
