Lori Rudolph Owen, Ph.D.
Lori Rudolph-Owen is a seasoned biopharmaceutical executive with more than two decades of leadership experience spanning R&D strategy, portfolio management, clinical development, and operations. She currently serves as Chief Development Officer at 4:59 NewCo, a 5AM Ventures company, and is an Independent Board Director at Codagenix Inc. Lori started her career in drug discovery at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, but quickly transitioned to development team leadership roles at Vertex Pharmaceuticals and MGI Pharma. She has since held senior leadership roles at innovative biotech and pharmaceutical companies including Senda Biosciences, Goldfinch Bio, TESARO, Pfizer, and AMAG Pharmaceuticals where she was responsible for driving development strategy and portfolio execution. Loriearned her Ph.D. in Cell Biology and completed postdoctoral training in Biochemistry at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
JJ Owen, Ph.D.
JJ Owen is the Principal of Owen Biopharma Consulting, where he provides high-touch strategic guidance to biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in competitive analytics, business development, market research, and new product planning. With over two decades of experience in the biopharma industry, JJhas held leadership roles in scientific and competitive analysis, business development, and knowledge management at organizations including Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, AVEO Pharmaceuticals, and Incyte Genomics. He also spent a decade as Partner at IntelliSight Partners, supporting biopharmaceutical and healthcare clients with specialized market research and consulting services. JJ earned his Ph.D. in Cell Biology from Vanderbilt University and his B.S. in Biology from Mississippi State University.
