AI Summer 2026
Your Gateway to Building Agentic AI Solutions with the Latest AI Techniques
College of Connected Computing Vanderbilt Data Science Institute
May 5–28 | Tuesdays and Thursdays | 11:00 AM–1:00 PM CT | Virtual via Zoom
Why AI Summer?
AI Summer 2026 is a unique opportunity to explore the latest of artificial intelligence in a structured, collaborative, and research-focused environment. Unlike our reactive programming like AI Flash, AI Summer is a planned and immersive four-week series built to foster innovative teaching and research projects across Vanderbilt University and beyond.
This remote workshop is free to attend but has limited capacity—ensuring a focused, interactive experience for participants. By the end of the summer, you’ll not only have a firm grasp on the latest techniques, but also the ability to build your own AI agents.
What to Expect from AI Summer
Over the course of four weeks, participants will engage with:
-
Interactive Live Zoom Sessions (T Th from 11 AM–1 PM Central)
-
Hands-on Development Projects with a focus on reasoning agents
-
Guided Learning Materials including step-by-step tutorials, code examples, and challenges
-
Curated Resources and Recordings available via our GitHub repository
