Manager, Marketing Analytics

Campaign Monitor (https://www.campaignmonitor.com/) is seeking a Manager, Marketing Analytics to support ongoing digital and traditional marketing initiatives to optimize our customer acquisition strategy.  As a Marketing Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, managing and automating marketing data to help drive business planning. You will work on the entire marketing analytics lifecycle, leveraging data to inform key business partners about business performance. Delivering actionable insights to the greater marketing organization, this role is the perfect opportunity to work in a fast-paced, growing marketing tech environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Create ad-hoc and operational reports/dashboards, including but not limited to business performance, paid marketing performance, lifetime value (LTV), anomaly detection
  • Automate, standardize, schedule, and publish key reports and dashboards to help disseminate data and insights to key leaders and other stakeholders
  • Develop framework covering data collection processes, model development and maintenance, communication to key stakeholders, and internal deliverables
  • Access, prepare, and analyze data to support internal clients and prepare written analyses and present findings, recommendations, and insights to internal and external clients
  • Create queries and processes (SQL, R, Python, etc.) to develop analyses in response to inquiries from internal customers
  • Identify key trends within large data sets and draw insights and recommendations

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an Analytics function required
  • Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Research, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or any other quantitative field of study
  • Preferred proficiency in at least one statistical programming language (R and/or Python)
  • Experience using SQL to extract data from large scale databases such as AWS Redshift
    • Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Google Data Studio, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Ability to translate business questions and needs into technical projects and specifications
  • Ability to clearly translate technical data into an output that internal clients can understand
  • Ability to persuasively present and clearly communicate data and conclusions in an organized manner to a wide variety of audiences, up to and including Executive management
