The successful candidate will work as part of a group that includes biochemists, molecular biologists, immunologists and computational biologists and collaborate with clinicians. The range of techniques will be used to address urgent unmet needs in the immunogenicity of protein therapies and emerging technologies such as Cas-mediated gene editing. Applicants should have prior hands-on experience in flow cytometry and cell culture. Ability to work collaboratively and adopt new technologies outside their comfort zone is an essential quality for this position.

This position is a contract fellowship through the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE).

Qualifications:

The candidate may have a Master’s or Doctoral degree in immunology, biology, biochemistry or molecular biology. Highly motivated candidates with a Baccalaureate degree may also apply.

Location:

The laboratory is located on the FDA campus in Silver Spring, Maryland which offers an excellent environment for professional development.
