Consultant Aparna Shekar, PhD, speaker for VUADCC, April 21
Join the Vanderbilt University Advanced Degree Consulting Club on Friday, April 21st, at noon on Zoom as they welcome Dr. Aparna Shekar, a consultant with Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
Aparna Shekar has worked with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) since 2019 and performed the role of a Project Leader in the Healthcare and Consumer practice areas. Prior to BCG, she received a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Vanderbilt University. At BCG, Aparna has worked with cross-functional client teams to build and deploy multiyear strategy, operations, M&A and business development projects, among others. She focuses on R&D and commercial functions, and is deeply passionate about combining her scientific and business expertise to further medical innovation. Additionally, as part of BCG leadership, she has led people and talent management processes, including recruitment and mentorship activities for the Pride and Women’s networks.
