Application open for Fall 2023 Scipreneur Challenge
Applications are officially OPEN for the BioTN Fall 2023 Scipreneur Challenge.
The challenge is open to graduate students, Ph.D. candidates and post-doctoral researchers attending a Tennessee-based academic institutions to join the 10-week long entrepreneurship-based program that engages students to develop commercialization plans for untapped intellectual property. Program participants are tasked to develop commercialization plans, a business proforma, and an investor pitch, all culminating at the final IP showcase to win serious prize money!
The challenge kicks off virtually on Thursday, August 31 for the “Program Introduction / Q&A” session. Applications will close on September 7.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Participants must be university students or postdoctoral fellows in Tennessee
- Participants will be assigned to a team of 4- to 6- persons
- Each commercialization plan must have a biotech or biotech-related idea.
