ASPIRE Down the Road- Inotiv Site visit December 3, 2025, 11am-1pm, Nashville, TN

ASPIRE on on the Road is keeping it local this December and heading down the road to visit Inotiv, located nearby on the edge of the Green Hills neighborhood on the David Lipscomb college campus!
As a leading contract research organization (CRO), Inotiv supports discovery and nonclinical development through investigational new drug (IND) and beyond. By leveraging their deep expertise and scientific capabilities, they help companies increase efficiency, improve data, and reduce the cost of taking new drugs to market.
The Nashville laboratory, originally founded by longtime VUMC professor of Biochemsitry and Proteomics, Dan Liebler, PhD, focuses on mass spectrometry approaches for targeted and global protein analysis. These two approaches have significantly expanded Inotiv’s footprint in drug discovery, enhanced translational pharmacology insights, and improved preclinical development success for its biopharmaceutical clients.
ASPIRE will take 12 trainees to visit Nashville’s Inotiv site where we will hear from local leadership about the work Inotiv does globally, as well as locally here in Nashville, tour the instrumentation and facilities, and meet other scientists working there to hear about their day-to-day activities interacting with clients across the nation.
